Fetish

This week has been PARIS FASHION WEEK and Kate Moss returned to the catwalk, for the first time in three years, to flaunt Louis Vuitton's new collection. The final day of the show landed on national non-smoking day. She has never been one to follow the crowd and in true Moss fashion, she lit up her cigarette whilst on stage.

Models and smoking have always gone hand in hand, as a way to diminish hunger, but surely this is too far. Years ago smoking adverts and campaigns were banned, to ensure smoking was not portrayed as sexy.

Louis Vuitton's Spring collection was based on fetishes. It aimed to highlight freedom of choice to show women that they should be able to have what they are obsessive about, whether this is a packet of cigarettes or the new LV handbag and matching purse.

Was this message was successful or not? Who is to say, but the controversy deffinately got everybody talking... but was it about the clothes?
